The basic curriculum includes math, language arts (including phonics), science, social studies and religion. Along with religious instruction and sacramental preparations, students attend Mass twice weekly as well as celebrate Holy Days of Obligation and special feast days with student-led Masses.
Specialty classes include music, physical education, library, art, enrichment and computer applications. The school-wide enrichment program provides above grade level learning opportunities in small groups. It promotes creative and critical thinking.
Students may also participate in many other activities including Girl Scouts, Boy Scouts, Christian Service Club, and Student Council. Extracurricular activities include competitions in Destination Imagination (creative problem-solving through teamwork) and PSIA (Private School Interscholastic Association) academic competitions. The teams have been extremely successful, taking many top honors.
Meal and drink tickets may be purchased in the office for those wishing daily lunch service provided by the cafeteria and/or a drink at snack time. Elementary students wear a basic required uniform. Our parents have set up a voluntary “Uniform Exchange” room in our school.
