Graduating Class 2010
St. Joseph High School students are invited and encouraged to participate in many outside learning experiences as well. Our students have met with, had lunch with, and attended many functions with former Presidents, U.S. government officials, and world leaders. These opportunities have given St. Joseph students experiences rarely found in large classrooms elsewhere.
Also, fundamental to any high school program is its extracurricular activities. St. Joseph has participated in and developed a winning tradition in all aspects of academic, art, and sports- related competition. The High School competes in TAPPS (Texas Association of Private and Parochial Schools) competitions in football, volleyball, basketball, softball, baseball, cross country, track, cheerleading, band, music, art, and a full range of academic topics. An outstanding 98% of the students are involved in some aspect of academic, art, music, or athletic competition.
Other activities for student involvement include the Texas BEST Robotics Contest, Student Council, Key Club, National Honor Society, scouting, yearbook, and science fair. A full listing of the course selections, electives, and activities is available through the school counselor. The high school is accredited by the Texas Catholic Conference Accreditation Commission.
A student questionnaire, two recommendations, previous academic history, and an interview with administration are required prior to admission to the school. We will be happy to assist you with any questions you may have about our school or the enrollment process.
