What is Campus Ministry?
The Campus Ministers at St. Joseph Catholic School are missionaries dedicated to support and care for St. Joseph students, as well as provide opportunities for growth, leadership and an encounter with Jesus.
Campus Ministry Events:
Days of Reflection: The junior high and high school each gets a Day of Reflection every other month. Days of Reflection are school days that include fellowship, talks, small group, games and opportunities for prayer and worship.
High School Retreats: Each high school grade gets a day-long retreat focusing on one topic relevant to high schoolers. The retreats are aimed at taking a step back from day-to-day life and taking a moment to evaluate our relationship with God.
Bible Study: Campus Ministry hosts Bible Study at lunch once a week for junior high girls, junior high boys, and high schoolers. At these Bible Studies, we dive into a character or a book of the Bible and discuss the ways in which we see God at work. Past topics include: Esther, the saints, Tobit, Revelation, and much more!
High School Leadership Team: The leadership team aims to involve our students in planning for activities such as service, retreats, and Mass. The team allows our students to have buy-in, give feedback, and learn to take responsibility and ownership of their faith.
