Being part of a club or organization means being part of something bigger than yourself. It means discovering new interests, working with others and exploring the limitless possibilities of all you can achieve at SJCS and beyond.
Students work with organizations like Student Council and NJHS/NHS to serve the greater B/CS community. Through parterships with the Society of St. Vincent de Paul, students are able to give back by helping with their annual Thanksgiving Food Drive and Christmas Angels.

The Latin Club was designed to help students learn Latin prayers and basic vocabulary.
The elementary Student Council presents a unique opportunity for young students to learn organization, leadership and teamwork skills and prepares them for later student government positions.
The Choir a fun environment for each child to develop their God-given instrument, the voice, and to sharpen the necessary skills to belong to a musical ensemble. The St. Joseph Choir Club has occasional performances during Masses and special events.

Goals: Families attend a literacy experience together. Students are immersed in the Spanish language. SJCS provides culturally responsive programming.
Our student-led podcast is designed and created by our SJCS students (3rd-5th). Members have the opportunity to develop and showcase the following skills: brainstorming, writing, researching, storytelling, recording, editing, publishing and so much more!

Whether you are a beginner or an experienced player, Chess Club provides a supportive environment for all levels of expertise. At our club, we aim to foster a love for chess and develop critical thinking skills in our members. Through monthly meetings and engaging activities, we create an atmosphere of camaraderie and friendly competition.

Eagles 4 Life is committed to protecting and proclaiming the dignity of all human life from conception to natural death. Sponsored by Mrs. Barry, students participate in annual events such as the Buddy Walk and traveling to the State Capitol in Austin to attend the March for Life.

The MLT at St. Joseph Catholic School is a group of sophomores through seniors who serve as missionaries dedicated to support and care for St. Joseph students, as well as provide opportunities for growth, leadership and an encounter with Jesus.
