The basic curriculum includes language arts, science, social studies, math (Algebra is offered in eighth grade) and religious education. Choices in electives are band, art, creative writing and other options. Course and elective selections are decided at enrollment (and thereafter in each spring semester) with the help of our school counselor. Enrichment classes include Spanish, computer applications, physical education, art and band.
Furthermore, students attend an annual religious retreat and participate in Mass twice a week and on Holy Days of Obligation. Smaller classes encourage student participation, allow teachers to pay attention to individual students and bolster a friendly, family-like atmosphere where each child is encouraged to express his or her individuality in a learning, competitive, and Christian environment.
Beginning in sixth grade, students may also participate in a variety of extracurricular activities including football, volleyball, band, cheerleading, basketball, student council, cross country and academic contests through PSIA (Private School Interscholastic Association).
