Established in 1894, SJCS embraces its history and has a long tradition of academic excellence and leadership.
As a Pre-k through 12th grade school, we encourage meaningful peer mentoring, as well as impactful teacher-student relationships. We implement a unique Emergenetics Program which provides students with the language to advocate for themselves and their learning needs.
We work with our local Catholic churches, St. Mary’s, St. Thomas Aquinas, St. Anthony and St. Teresa, to make a Catholic education available, accessible and affordable to families in the B/CS area. These churches invest $2,000 toward each student’s tuition every year, for active and tithing parishioners.
As a parochial school, SJCS grows with the support of pastors who provide opportunities for spiritual growth. Also, our daily religion and theology classes allow students the chance to discuss their faith.
Our outstanding art program is proudly recognized as a Texas Art Education Association District of Distinction.
We offer our families and students a full-faith immersion. They get to meet, know, live for and share the love of Jesus Christ.
Teachers and staff seek to develop well rounded students, forming disciples of God and following in the footsteps of St. Joseph.
Small classes and an intimate campus creates a comfortable feeling for our students who share similar morals and values like humility, integrity, perseverance and discipline.
Remarkable student spirit and outstanding athletic program with an “all-play” policy, giving students the opportunity to try every sport. Nearly all athletic programs compete in post-season play each year.
With opportunities like Eagle Ambassadors, Student Council and NHS, our students get the chance to learn how to be a leader. Through coaching and training sessions within these organizations, students learn how to foster the development of themselves and others, and inspire and influence each other.
